Phase 1: Building Fiber

Over the next few weeks, Hawaiian Telcom
Teams will be working to bring Fiber to
your building. Construction crews
will be onsite; please be careful and
excuse our dust as we build.

 



Phase 2: Scheduling your
Fioptics Installation

Once construction is complete all
residents will need to schedule an
installation appointment.

will set up equipment into your unit.

FAQs

When and how do I schedule my installation appointment?

Once we are done with Phase 1: Building Fiber, we will notify so you can schedule your installation. You'll then be able to go online or call 808-643-2855 to setup your appointment.

Why do I need to schedule an installation if the building is in contract?

When you schedule an installation appointment, we will also setup a Hawaiian Telcom account for you. Any additional charges outside of your building contract will be billed directly to you. You will also have the opportunity to setup “Authorized Users” on your account. Those with account authorization will be able to inquire on the your account, request new services or make changes. 

I own multiple units, do I have schedule an appointment for each one?

Yes, each unit will require separate installation appointments. Separate Hawaiian Telcom accounts will also be setup for each unit.

 

Do I need to be home for the installation?

Yes, someone 18 years or older must be home for the installation and to sign-off on the work that will be done.

Can I change my installation appointment?

Yes, if you need to change your installation appointment, please call 808-643-2855 we will find a time that works best for you.

Do I have to do anything to prepare for the installation?

Please review our professional installation guide page to find out how to prepare and what to expect during your installation

How long will the installation take?

The installation will take between 2-6 hours depending on the equipment that needs to be installed.

Do I have to pay for the installation charges

No, there is no additional cost for the installation.

Can I add additional services outside of my building contract?

Yes, you are able to add additional Hawaiian Telcom services when you schedule your installation. If you decide to add services after your installation, you can call 808-643-2855 to add them on.

What do I do with my old Spectrum equipment?

After your Hawaiian Telcom service is installed, you will need to return your old Spectrum equipment back to them. Please contact Spectrum on how to return their equipment.

Can I manage my account online?

Once your Hawaiian Telcom Account is setup, you can go online and register for My Account using your Account Number which can be found on your order receipt. With My Account, you can view and manage your services, view your bill, make online payments or setup Autopay.
